So I was leaving work near Industrial Area 5 in Sharjah tonight and my 2016 Nissan Patrol just clicked once and then nothing – dash lights flickered and the battery is completely dead, no weird sounds before this so I'm guessing it just gave up after three years. The problem is I'm alone, it's almost 9 PM, and I don't have cables or anyone nearby to give me a jump. I started looking on my phone for mobile battery replacement services and found a few numbers but most said they'd take an hour or more. One site mentioned something like "Call Us Now" for on-site service within 30 minutes but I'm always skeptical about response times after dark. Has anyone here used a mobile battery guy in Sharjah who actually shows up quickly and doesn't overcharge for a basic 70Ah battery? Also should I be worried about the alternator if the battery died suddenly while driving? I was able to park before it fully died but the radio was acting weird for the last few minutes. Really just need to get home tonight without paying a fortune for a tow.
